The Division of Language Studies
English is the medium of instruction for all AAUCA programmes. It is vital, therefore, that all applicants, as well as all enrolled students, be prepared to understand rapid idiomatic English – as spoken in the lectures and seminars, executive training, discussion groups and classes. In addition, all AAUCA programmes require participants to read extensively in English, and with great ease. All AAUCA students …or executive training participants… must be able to express their thoughts clearly in spoken and written English.
The division of Language Studies of AAUCA houses all facets of the various English language courses. These courses are offered through the intensive language programme department. They provide international students from all over the world with specialised language training with which to embark upon, and support, each individuals university level academic endeavour. All AAUCA language classes are intentionally small, so that our faculty can pay special attention to give to care to students needs.
Foreign language studies
AAUCA considers competency in a foreign language ( beyond the English and a student’s mother tongue ) to be a vital and indispensable skill for all its degree seeking students and its graduates. Therefore, all its centres around the world AAUCA actively supports its student community in acquiring the language skills necessary to work in each individuals declared area of global interest. Many of AAUCA’s students actually declare an area of global and regional interests. For its part AAUCA interest is in ensuring that each of the students…or executive trainees… achieve a level of familiarity with the foreign language of their choice…that provides a firm foundation for lifelong improvement. Optimally, the minimum level of competency in a significant foreign language which AAUCA would like all its students to achieve would equal between 2- and 2+ on the foreign service Institute of scale.
To this end, through all its centres around the world, AAUCA will oversee the range and variety of language courses for interested students. At the present time, for instance, AAUCA students at various centres are undertaking, ancillary foreign language courses in Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Italian, French, Thai, Bahasa Melayu ( Malay), Bahasa Indonesia, and Arabic.

The Division of Executive Training & Development
No other period in time – as with the onset of the new millennium – has seen such a rapid and intense industrialisation take place in both developing, and developed, countries. In many nations, however, this has placed extreme demanding pressure on the scarce managerial resources available. The need for training and development of in-work, professional, executives and managers is vast… and that need increases daily.
As with business leaders all around the world AAUCA acknowledges the complex diversity in backgrounds interests and professional growth needs of executives and senior managers… those in mid career… from different parts of the world.
In tandem with a fraternal organisation, the Global Executive Training and Development Association (GETDA), AAUCA’s Division of Executive Training and Development is intended to allow us to proffer – under GETDA mandate and authority – certificate courses, post-graduate diploma courses and an on-going series of Executive Training and enhancement seminars to adult, in-work Executives.
Through many years of combined experience senior AAUCA administrators and faculty have acquired extensive and diversified experiences in management needs styles and practices in all socio-cultural and economic environments. With this in mind AAUCA works with the Congress and global executives to provide GETDA’s renowned programmes. Such that stress the vital decision-making and strategic skill enhancement for global executives will function in commerce, trade economics, International business and government etc. The very international environment of AAUCA’s programme locales offers an excellent opportunity for all participants to share in ideas and experiences with other professionals in
their fields and to gain new perspectives on successful executive business strategies. In all, the executive training and development courses offered the application of specialised, modern executive skills is emphasised and adjusted in the light of local circumstances in the nations from which the participants originate.
Essentially, any global executive would continue to approve a growing body of current knowledge to enhance his/her particular endeavour.
